The short answer
A concrete slab or pad in Phoenix costs about $7 to $12 per square foot reinforced, or $6 to $11 unreinforced, in HomeBlue's published 2026 figures. That puts a 10x10 shed pad at $1,000 to $1,600, a 12x40 RV pad at roughly $3,360 to $5,760, and a 20x20 parking pad at $3,800 to $6,500, before removing anything old.

What pushes a pad quote up or down
Thickness and reinforcement
A 6-inch RV pad uses half again as much concrete as a 4-inch patio of the same size, and a rebar grid costs more than mesh. HomeBlue puts ready-mix in Phoenix at $126 to $150 per cubic yard; a yard covers about 81 square feet at 4 inches or 54 square feet at 6 inches.
Demolition
Breaking out and hauling away an old slab adds $1.20 to $1.90 per square foot in HomeBlue's figures, more for thick or heavily reinforced slabs.
Caliche
Much of the Valley has caliche, soil cemented by calcium carbonate into a layer the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension describes as anywhere from a few inches to several feet thick. When it sits right where the base needs to go, it has to be broken out, which published Phoenix estimates put at about $0.50 to $2.00 per square foot. When it is below grade, it is simply a good base.
Access
A pad beside the driveway can take concrete straight from the truck. A pad in a backyard behind a block wall may need a pump or a long wheelbarrow run, both of which add cost.
Size
Small pads carry minimum charges, so a 3x3 AC pad costs far more per square foot than an RV pad. Pouring several small pads in one visit spreads that minimum.
